Welcome to our wedding registry.
You may know that we recently combined our individual households and are up to our ears in stuff. Your presence at our wedding is present enough for us! That said, we realize that a wedding is a sentimental affair, and we would cherish a gift from you.
We have come up with several low-impact, low-cost options:
QUILT SQUARE: Marilyn Ferris (David’s mom), Susan Sears (David’s sister) and Nancy Bowen (David’s aunt) are collecting submissions to make a wedding quilt for us. It needs to be a 9″x 9″ cloth with a 1/4″ margin all around (so the final piece is 9 1/2″ x 9 1/2″. If you can contribute in this way, please email Nancy at NBOWEN4419@aol.com.
WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY: We dig our wedding photographers, Amy and Paul Kawabori. They have worked with us to create a special registry for you to gift us lasting memories of the wedding weekend. A $25 gift will help print our favorite pictures to decorate our home, and $50 gift will supply a page in our album. We will acknowledge all of our photo-gifters on the final page of our wedding album, which will read “With Best Compliments from …”. To contribute in this manner, visit this page.
ECO HOME: As we settle into a new home just blocks away from the Obamas’ veggie garden and the Capitol where new environmental laws are being written, we have a strong desire to walk the walk. We’d like to turn our carport, lawn and deck into a place to grow food, harvest rain water and turn our kitchen scraps into soil. Our favorite online catalogs don’t have wedding registries, so we crafted our own here.
